On this page, you will practice adding a That clause to the beginning of a sentence.

These can be added directly to the beginning of the sentences you have learned so far. Each button has an abbreviation, so let’s train so that you can instantly remember it when you see it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

However, there are grammatical caveats regarding “I hope” and “What if”. The clauses following these usually do not use the future tense. We also use the present tense to refer to the future. Therefore, in this app, when “I hope” and “What if” are selected, it is automatically controlled so that future tense cannot be selected. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
